What is an eyeliner tattoo?
An eyeliner tattoo places soft colour along your lash line. It makes your lashes look thicker and your eyes look more open.
You choose how strong it looks. Some clients want an invisible line that just makes lashes look fuller. Others want a clear wing. Both are done the same careful way.
It is also called permanent eyeliner. The colour sits near the surface of the skin, so it softens over the years rather than staying forever.
What happens at your appointment

Consultation
Anjali looks at your eye shape and your skin. You talk about how strong you want the line to be.
Liner changes the whole face, so this part is not rushed. She will walk you through the session and answer everything before you decide.

Shape and colour
Anjali draws the liner on with a makeup pencil first. You try a few shapes and look in the mirror.
Nothing starts until you approve the shape. The colour is chosen to suit your skin tone and eye colour.

Numbing
A numbing cream is placed along the lash line and left for about ten minutes. Nothing is injected — the cream sits on the skin.

The liner goes on
A new single-use needle is opened in front of you. Anjali works along the lash line in small, careful strokes.
She can work on the top lid, the bottom lid, or both. This part usually takes thirty to forty minutes. A cooling lotion goes on at the end.

Aftercare
Keep the area clean and dry. Do not rub or scratch it. Use the ointment Anjali gives you, and keep it away from heavy water for a few days.
Your lids may look slightly puffy for a few hours. Most clients go straight back to work. Skip hard exercise for two days.
How long does an eyeliner tattoo last?
Most clients keep their liner for about three to four years. Some see it soften after one or two years and come back sooner.
Your skin type, sun and the face products you use all change how long it holds.
Is eyeliner tattooing safe?
It is safe when it is done properly. Like any tattoo it carries some risk, so who does it matters more than anything else.
Look for a certified artist, a clean studio, and a fresh sealed needle opened in front of you. Anjali does all three as standard.
Please tell Anjali before booking if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, get eye infections often, have had recent eye surgery, or wear contact lenses daily.
